Body and Limbs

The baby’s body is elongating, and the arms and legs are becoming more proportionate. The fingers and toes are now fully formed, and the baby may start to make small movements, such as kicking or flexing its limbs.

Internal Organs

The baby’s internal organs are continuing to develop rapidly. The heart is now fully formed and beating regularly, and the kidneys are beginning to function. The digestive system is also developing, and the baby is starting to produce bile.

Your Body

As your baby grows, your body will also undergo significant changes to accommodate the pregnancy.


Your uterus, which was about the size of a small fist before pregnancy, has now grown to the size of a grapefruit. It will continue to expand throughout the pregnancy to provide space for your growing baby.
